What is the Divine Connect Translation Receiver?

The Divine Connect Translation Receiver is a device that enables the non-Arabic speaking individual visiting Masjid Al Haram in Makkah and Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah to receive the Arabic Jumu’ah Khutbahs during Hajj, Umrah and all Fridays in multiple languages in real time, live and simultaneous.

Can I use my receiver to listen to the Khutbah when I’m not in Makkah and Madinah?

Currently, the receiver will only work within the specified circumference around Masjid Al Haram in Makkah and Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah. You can view the Coverage Map to see which areas your device will work.

Does the device translate the Khutbahs into different languages or is it an actual person?

The device enables you to listen to an actual person who is translating the Khutbah into your selected language in real time, live and simultaneous.

What do you mean by real time, live and simultaneous?

Real time means that multiple languages are being broadcasted as the translation in actually occurring. Live means the translation being done is by an actual person; it is not computer generated or pre-recorded. Simultaneous means that it is happening at the same time as the Imam is giving the Khutbah

What languages are currently available?

There are 7 languages currently in operation. These include English, Turkish, Indonesian, Urdu, French, Persian, and Hausa. More languages will be available in the near future bringing the total to 35 languages. You can view the Coverage Map to see the most up to date languages that are available at the different locations.

Will my receiver translate and interpret people talking to me in Arabic?

This device will enable you to listen to the translated Jumu’ah Khutbahs while visiting Makkah and Madinah. It will not translate or interpret people talking to you in Arabic or any other language.

Can I listen to lectures using my Divine Connect Translation Receiver?

Not at this time, only the Jumu’ah Khutbahs at Masjid Al Haram in Makkah and Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah.

Will I be able to use my receiver to listen to the Khutbah at Mount Arafat?

Not at this time, only the Jumu’ah Khutbahs at Masjid Al Haram in Makkah and Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah.

Can I return my receiver after my visit from Hajj or Umrah for a partial refund?

Returns and refunds are only issued for new and unopened items. Please see our Standard Return Policy for details. Our hope is that you keep your device as a memento from your trip to Makkah and Madinah.
